After the conclusion of the previous Huaxing story, there seems to be an incident of virus leakage in a laboratory in Yunnan, China. The Canadian and U.S. governments are once again concerned about the actions of the Chinese government behind the scenes.

Jane, a Chinese-Canadian journalist from the Vancouver Post, continues to follow the issues related to Huaxing. So far, she has attracted the attention of the Chinese government. Jane’s father is in China, suffering from a long-term illness and urgently needs the medication sent from Canada. However, due to the obstruction of Chinese police, her father has been unable to receive the medication sent by his daughter. On her way to China, Jane discovers an unknown virus spreading in the country and meets a doctor named Li Wuming. He is a brave physician who, despite the threats from the Chinese government, continues to disclose the truth about the virus to the Chinese public through social media. Meanwhile, Jane’s former partner, Ryan, plans to continue his career at Huaxing and travels to China…
